winter wonderland; same same, but different

These photos were taken 6 days ago.
Today the same view looks like below.
Same, same, but oh so different.
It's like playing find five errors. Besides, of course, that there are no errors.
Only pure perfection.
I love winter.

then the snow started falling

Yesterday I won a competition over at artsy ants! I won this super cute crafty diy owl kit! Hurray to me!
I never win when participating in competitions, so this was like a big moment for me! :)
My first win ever.
Well, I won a competition in like the 3rd grade, throwing a little red ball the farthest.
Not so much to bragging about these days.
So thank you girls!
*I must correct myself a little, it wasn't a competition in a competionary  way, it was a comment based give away! If anyone didn't get that!
Sorry, i should not write posts before my two cups of coffee in the morning.

Otherwise, it's early tuesday morning, it's 15 minus degrees celcius outside, and I'm on my way to help my studio friend Anny with a paper craft workshop at the museum, will be fun! Then in the afternoon I have to start with some new projects at the studio, because we are participating in an other christmas fair december 12, and I have to do loads of new stuff for that!
I just wanted to write a little post before I go, now I'm in quite a hurry!
See you later!

warning, this might be the longest post ever...♥

Men.

-----------------------------

It's been a strange couple of days and this is the shorter english version. I had this weird seizure of eye migraine friday morning, never have had any sort of migraine before, so it was a totally new horrible experience. I lost my right visual field and lost words, couldn't talk and couldn't explain what was happen to me. It was one of the most scary things that I've been up to, I thought I was having a stroke. But everything went well, and it's quite ordinarily I've learned now. But afterwards I got this terrible headache and it lasted til saturday evening.
Therefor I haven't been a good blogger this weekend.
But I will make up to that this week!
I have lots of photos, pics, lists and drawings that I wanna share with you!
Now I have to go out in the incredilby beautiful winter outside! Yesterday there was a blizzard, but today it's a blue sky, the sun is shining and theres a half metre of snow! See you later everyone!
Sorry for this extremely long post! Have a nice day.

white winter hymnal

Sorry for changing the design back and forth around here, but I was so tired of the whitewhite clean look, but I can't really decide what look I'm searching for instead. So it will probably be some more change til I'm satisfied.
Today I'm off for a special visit in Sörmlands Museums collections of arts and other stuff and later I will start this evening class on how to proceed when starting your own company.
Tonights about company forms, business registrations and taxes. Sounds fun ey? :)
Well, I guess it's the only way to go, learning and knowledge.
Have a beautiful day! Be back later with a list of some of my favourite blogs, old ones, friends and recently discovered, just as here! Or maybe tomorrow, that depends on how time will occur.

these are a few of my favourite things

Hi there, how are you?
With me everythings ok, lots of things happening these days so I am a little bit stressed. Meetings to go to, plans to make, drawings to finnish, things to by, phonecalls to call and 100s of other stuff, so I am quite confused!
So everythings like always in a way.
But today I took the morning off to make some to-do lists and make up my mind a little. And do some blogging!

When I checked my blog out this morning I found that I've got this "one lovely blog award" from supersweet Beth at Deer little fawn! That really made my day, so thank you Beth! Check out her blog and Etsy shop, they are wonderful!

Because of all the things around for the moment I haven't made any new drawings or colored any on going or even taking any photos of the winter wonderland outside so I had no pics to put here, so I invented a little feature for today! Because pics are so much funnier than no pics, right? So.

Some 5 favourite things in my home!

Jewelry box from my grandmother, it's been my favourite since I was a little girl and when she passed away it was given to me. I love it, love it, love it.

My Ostindia set from Rörstrand that my mom has collect for me since I was a child. I didn't rerally appreciate it for birthdaypresent when I was 7, but now I am so glad she has bought it for me all these years!

My sweet blue, kind of kitsch, St Paulia that I got from an old man at my summer job this summer!

My small collection of adorable russian matrjosjka dolls that my mom bought in Russia many years ago.
And my absolute favourite winter time dress from Lavand, it really makes boring grey dark days a little bit more fun!

The picture of me is from last year, but i look almost the same now, expect a little bit longer hair and a couple of more tattoos!
Well, that's all for me now! Really have to go do some of all the important boring stuff now! Be back later!
Have a wonderful day! Love/puss/xo

good night sleep tight

Just stopping by to say a quick hello, I am so tired that I'm not really able to think.
Barely in swedish, even less in english.
The meeting today went well, at least we are moving in the right direction!
Well, see you tomorrow instead before I fall asleep on the keyboard.

a sunday smile

It's already sunday evening and it feels like this weekend just went by in a second!
Time is such a weird thing.
Well, tomorrow it's monday again and me and Anny have an appointment with a lady to talk and discuss about how to proceed when starting your own business... exiting!
See you tomorrow!
I hope your weekend have been great!

and the snow keeps on falling, even though we are bad

Today it's crafting day in the studio all day long and a small christmas kick off one week to early!
We are gonna sew, crochet (not me, but anny), make prints, make lists, make posters, flyers and lots of more this and that for our chritmas market next sunday on 1th of advent!
And maybe listen to some christmas carols and drink some glögg as well,
just to get in the right christmas mood you know!
Maybe put some pics up later!

some new friday love

Spending all my time in front of the computer working today.
(expect for a trip to Systembolaget for some friday wine and to Elgiganten,
shopping a new beautiful MacBook Pro for Joi.)
I love new toys! Even if they are not mine.
Well, hanging out in front of the computer all day makes me sometimes distracted to take small trips out on the internet. Found this amazing artist Janet Hill at Stephanie Levys blog and i fell totally in love!
I always say that painting is boring and that oil is the worst medium you can ever work with.
(Mostly because it takes forever to dry, and I have no patience at all what so ever ever.)
But looking at these beautiful paintings by Janet makes me wanna go to the studio and dust off my old oil colors and start out on a new oil painting stat!

Check out her Etsy store here!
Just wanted to share this with you.

thinking of winter

It's kind of interesting how the human mind works.
Last years winter was one of the worst and longest winters ever, it never seemed to end.
I remember most of it standing on the platform at the trainstation in Stockholm, waiting for the train home several days a week, in 20 minus degrees with icy winds and snow blowing in my face, together with tousands of other grumpy people and the trains were always late or never arrived at all.
I really really hated that winter.

I just realized myself sitting in front of the computer, looking out through the window at the boring rainy slushy weather, and thinking 'oh how much I long for the winter and the snow now'.
Hmm, it's kind of interesting how the human mind works.
Have a nice friday!

let the seasons begin

Later never arrived yesterday so heres the photoshop version of the windmill drawing.
Will stop terrorizing you with pics from this one from now on, I'm pretty tired of it myself already.
But still like it.
Now I want to start with some new illustrations, birds probably, flowers obviously but what else...?
I always feel like I am doing the same stuff over and over. But I guess thats how you work.
Well, blablabla, have to clean my desk first, before doing anything, for some reason it looks like a battlefield. Hmm.
See you/ pusskram/xo

I think this song and video fits to the drawing in a way. It's one of my favourite songs.

keep making this to-do lists but nothing gets crossed out

Been busy doing nothing the last couple of days.
Have to do something, or almost anything today or at least this week then!
Phonecalls, drawings, shopping, socialization, write job applications, sketches, crafty projects for our christmas market and loads of other stuff! I think time is running a little bit to fast this time of year.
Or any time of the year actually.

The latest drawing, part III
This is the scanned image, the colours are much stronger, but my scanner often find it unnecessary to include them.
I am not really sure what to do with it next, I kind of had a complete different image in my head, but I played around with it in photoshop during the weekend to see what would work, and I think I kind of like the photoshop one better, or at least it became more alike the picture in my head.
I'll be back with that one later! Now I have to run for the studio!

A little bit to dizzy to write in english today, my head holds a little to much impressions for the moment.
Off for a friend for some soccer, beers and probably some weird discussions.
Have a wonderful saturday!

stars beginning to fade, and i lead the parade

Another Friday night.
Joi will work night and is home asleep.
I'm in the studio, listening to Tom Waits, drinking glögg, hanging around the internet and coloring my latest drawing.
Pretty soft friday evening I must say.

Not really sure if I'm satisfied with the coloring, but once you've started you can't go back so I guess it's just to continue and see where it ends up! Have a wonderful friday all of you!

storm clouds may gather and stars may collide

Yesterdays weather are gone, today the sun is (almost) shining again and I am about to go out and meet Olivia in a while. The good part with yesterday were that I could stay inside for almost the whole day and draw, the bad part was that I couldn't find any eraser at all home so I hade to go out in the crappy weather, just for that purpose, to get an eraser in the studio...but well, what do you do not?
Hopefully my boots are dry now.

A little sneakpeak of yesterdays drawing, birds ofcourse and some kind of imaginary moulin rouge best film ever inspired something something . It's not finnished yet, but maybe tomorrow. More pictures then!

trails of the winter storm

I took these just an hour ago from my living room window, and now you can't see the grass anymore and the grumpy snowplow man just arrived and the snow keeps pouring down like heavy rain, but snow.
I think I'm staying inside today.

all alright

Sorry for the veryvery way to long post earlier.
But I was quite sad, dissatisfied and very disapointed to be frank.
I really wanted that job. Well, anyway.
Finnished the outlines on this one before, will start to color it tomorrow, my favourite part!
If I make it to the studio of course, they say it will be a blizzard tomorrow. Oh happy day.

the world is your oyster

In my fucking face.
Well.

It's been a wonderful weekend with all that includes a wonderful weekend like good wine, nice food, good soccer and good company, but today all turned kind of crap.
Got back a job application again, with the obligatory 'thank you, your stupid f**k, but no thanks', again.
I try to keep the spirits up, but after no after no after no after no you loose a little faith in yourself.
Again. Crap.
Well, I will try to not whine to much around here, but sometimes I get really sick and tired!
Good though, that I have my studio and my pencils, so I can do something with my bad feelings, like trying to reverse them from bad to something good on the paper.
Started out with this one today, just some thin outlines yet, so still a long way to go.
(But since I don't have a job I have all the time in the world.)
Blablabla, whining, whining.
It's a new day tomorrow I guess.
Thanks to you cute readers out there, you make me really happy when feelings are upside down!

pink purple flying fairy christmas reindeer

Finnished this one yesterday, my plan was to make it kind of realistic,
but somewhere along the way it took an other direction, not really sure where that came from, but I kind of like it anyhow.
